Mostly Mozart Festival – Performance w/ Emerson String Quartet @ Alice Tully Hall
Jul 30 @ 7:30 pm

One of the great string quartets of our time joins with acclaimed viola virtuoso Nokuthula Ngwenyama for an invigorating evening of chamber music. From the finely wrought fantasia and fugue by Purcell and Bach, respectively, emerge the restless transcendence of Mozart’s G-minor string quintet and the smoldering drama of Mendelssohn’s late-period quintet in B-flat major.
